2011 Challenges

The Recycle Challenge - Use multiples of something that you are recycling or re-purposing
The Found Object Challenge
Paint Chip Challenge - We used a 4 swatch paint sample card (Behr from Home Depot.) They were put into a bag and everyone drew one, although 're-draws' were allowed if you really didn't like your first pick. Your work must use the monochromatic color scheme based on the color on your card. You may also use black, white, or metallics (copper, gold, etc.) if you feel you need to.

2010 Challenges

Black & White Photo - The same Black & White photocopy of a photo from a magazine was given to everyone. The photo can be used as inspiration or included in the work. (See the post for June 2010 to download the photo.)
Post Card Challenge - Everyone brought in a Post Card of their choice. We put them in a basket and drew randomly. Then we were to make something inpired by and/or including the Post Card we received.
Cigar Box - Cigar Boxes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes are avalable at the Studio for anyone who wants to alter them in any way.
